Can I use my MVI instrument to monitor an area whilst it is on charge?

No, the unit will not charge whilst the unit is switched on; the MVI mercury vapour detector must be switched off when charging and the green LED light will illuminate to confirm charging is in progress. The instrument cannot be used to monitor an area whilst on charge.
